The market for household appliances, AV/IT products, lights and other devices for everyday use has changed dramatically in recent years. For example, there are now many robots that do the work for their owners and take care of numerous household chores, even at affordable prices. And the market is growing. Robotic hoovers have long been part of the range. They are joined by intelligent mops, lawnmowers and window cleaners. Lamps, washing machines and refrigerators have also become smart appliances that can be controlled via app.

Different regulatory, interoperability, performance, safety and security standards are not infrequently a challenge on the part of manufacturers and can cause not inconsiderable delays in market introduction,” Mohammed continues.
